Baste Leads Cebu Rally Backing VP Sara

Supporters of the Duterte family gathered in Cebu City on Sunday, May 10, for the launch of the RAGE Coalition in the Visayas, a regional alliance formed to support Sara Duterte amid the impeachment issue against her.
The coalition, which stands for Reform Alliance for Accountability, Good Governance and Ethics, is composed of 111 groups across the Visayas, along with political parties including Partido Demokratiko Pilipino, Partido Reporma, and Reform PH.
Leading the launch was Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, who also took the opportunity to criticize the leadership of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. during the gathering.
The event happened a day before the House of Representatives is expected to deliberate on and vote on the articles of impeachment filed against Vice President Duterte.
Participants at the event also voiced their opposition to the impeachment move, with supporters carrying the message: “VISAYAS SAYS NO TO THE IMPEACHMENT OF VP SARA.”
