The Bureau of Internal Revenue has officially launched its new Taxpayer Portal Project, a digital platform designed to make accessing tax records and services faster and more convenient for Filipinos.

The pilot rollout was formally introduced on May 26, 2026 at the BIR National Office, with Frederick D. Go leading the event alongside BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza and other bureau officials.

According to the BIR, the new portal aims to simplify tax compliance by bringing multiple tax services together into one centralized platform. Instead of navigating separate systems and scattered records, taxpayers will now have easier access to important tax information online.

The initial rollout will focus on Large Taxpayers, whose feedback will help improve the system before it expands to more users in the coming phases.

Officials said the portal is part of the government’s broader push toward digitalization and more efficient public services, with the goal of making transactions with the BIR more accessible and less complicated for taxpayers.
