Blissoo Draws Firm Line As Jisoo Kept Out Of Brother's Growing Scandal

A controversy involving a man believed to be Jisoo’s brother is making headlines, but her agency is moving quickly to shut down any connection.

According to The Korea Herald, Blissoo—the company founded by the BLACKPINK star—has firmly denied any link between the artist and the ongoing police investigation into alleged sexual assault.

The case centers on a man in his 30s, surnamed Kim, who was reportedly arrested on April 15 in Seoul. He is accused of sexually assaulting a female streamer at his home after inviting her over. While the suspect admitted there was contact, he denied using force. Reports also say he is facing separate domestic violence allegations involving his wife.

In response, Blissoo, through legal counsel Kim & Chang, made it clear that the case is “entirely unrelated” to both the artist and the agency. The firm also warned that much of the information circulating online is either unverified or outright false.

The agency stressed that Jisoo has long been independent from her family, having started her career at a young age, and has no involvement in or knowledge of her brother’s personal matters.

Blissoo also dismissed claims that the man had any role in the company’s operations, emphasizing that he holds no legal or business ties to the agency.

With speculation continuing to spread online, the agency issued a strong warning: it is prepared to pursue both civil and criminal action against anyone linking Jisoo to the case through false or defamatory claims.

As the investigation unfolds, Blissoo is drawing a clear boundary—protecting its artist while pushing back against misinformation.
