Cebu Pacific moved to reassure passengers on Sunday, saying it has secured enough jet fuel to support its scheduled domestic and international flights through June 2026.
In an advisory, the budget carrier acknowledged ongoing developments in parts of the Middle East that are raising concerns about global fuel supply, but emphasized that its operations remain stable.
“The airline has secured sufficient jet fuel to support all scheduled domestic and international flights until June 2026,” Cebu Pacific said.
The airline added that it is working closely with suppliers and industry partners to ensure continued fuel availability in the coming months, while taking proactive steps to maintain stable and sustainable operations.
Airlines worldwide are closely monitoring fuel availability as tensions in key oil-producing regions create uncertainty and contribute to price volatility. Jet fuel, derived from crude oil, remains one of the largest operating costs for carriers.
Despite these concerns, Cebu Pacific said there is no immediate cause for alarm for travelers.
“Passengers can continue to travel with confidence, as Cebu Pacific remains committed to providing reliable and affordable air travel,” the airline said.
The carrier also urged passengers to stay updated through its official channels for the latest developments as the global situation continues to evolve.
