Cebu Pacific is giving travelers a closer look at the people behind the airline through a new online series called From the Flight Deck, which features conversations with company leaders about aviation, travel and the future of the airline industry in the Philippines.
The budget carrier said the pilot episode features Cebu Pacific CEO Mike Szucs discussing how the airline navigates global challenges while maintaining its low-cost identity and expanding access to travel for Filipinos.
The airline described the series as a platform that highlights leadership, resilience and purpose behind every flight, while also allowing executives to answer questions about flying, travel trends and the aviation industry.
Cebu Pacific, the country’s largest airline in terms of passenger traffic, has long been known for pioneering affordable air travel in the Philippines. The carrier continues to expand its domestic and international network as travel demand steadily grows following the pandemic.
The airline has also been investing in newer fuel-efficient aircraft and sustainability initiatives as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Szucs, who has been leading Cebu Pacific during the aviation industry’s recovery period, has repeatedly emphasized the importance of accessible and affordable travel in an archipelagic country like the Philippines, where air transportation plays a key role in connecting communities, businesses and families.
