Cristine Reyes Engaged To Former NYC Chair Gio Tiongson

Actress Cristine Reyes has officially announced her engagement to former youth leader and political figure Gio Tiongson.
The actress shared the news on social media with the caption: “Every timeline led here. Endgame unlocked.”
Tiongson previously served as chairperson of the National Youth Commission from 2014 to 2016. He also worked as chief political officer for Bam Aquino from 2016 to 2018 and later became chairperson of Akbayan Citizens' Action Party from 2018 to 2022.
Before her engagement to Tiongson, Reyes was married to professional MMA fighter Ali Khatibi in 2016. The two share a daughter named Amarah, who was born in 2015.
In February 2024, Reyes revealed during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that her marriage to Khatibi had already been annulled for more than a year.
The engagement announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities online.
