DJI has officially introduced its new entry-level drone lineup, the Lito series, aimed at beginners who want to explore aerial photography without complex controls or high costs. Launched on April 23, 2026, the series includes two models: the Lito X1 and Lito 1, both designed to make flying and filming easier for first-time users.
The Lito X1 sits at the higher end of the lineup, featuring a 1/1.3-inch 48MP CMOS sensor, advanced HDR video support, and 10-bit D-Log M for more detailed and flexible footage. It also adds forward-facing LiDAR to its omnidirectional obstacle sensing system, improving safety and precision when flying in more challenging environments. The standard Lito 1 uses a 1/2-inch 48MP sensor and still supports up to 8K photo capture and 4K video, making it a capable and more affordable option for new creators.
Both drones come with DJI’s intelligent shooting features such as ActiveTrack, QuickShots, MasterShots, Hyperlapse, and Panorama, allowing users to create cinematic shots with minimal effort. Safety is also a key focus, with omnidirectional obstacle detection helping prevent collisions during flight.
In terms of performance, the Lito series offers up to 36 minutes of flight time and stable flight even in winds up to 10.7 m/s. Users can also transfer files quickly via Wi-Fi 6 with speeds up to 50 MB/s, while the Lito X1 includes 42GB of internal storage for added convenience.
With the Lito series, DJI continues to push beginner-friendly innovation, making aerial photography more accessible to new creators entering the drone space.
