The story of one of the Philippines’ most influential rock bands, Eraserheads, continues to reach wider audiences as their documentary Combo on the Run moves toward an international rollout following its successful Philippine release.

Originally released in Philippine cinemas in March 2025, the documentary revisits the band’s legacy, breakup, and highly anticipated 2022 reunion concert “Huling El Bimbo,” which marked a major moment in OPM (Original Pilipino Music) history.

The film features behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and personal reflections from the band members, offering a closer look at their creative journey, internal dynamics, and the emotional return to the stage after years of separation.

Following strong local reception, the documentary was picked up for international theatrical distribution in 2026, bringing the story of Eraserheads to audiences in countries including the United States and Canada.

The film highlights not only the band’s reunion era but also their lasting cultural impact, as they helped define the alternative rock movement in the Philippines during the 1990s and continue to influence new generations of musicians.

While international screenings are confirmed, there has been no official announcement yet regarding a global streaming release on platforms such as Netflix.
