Feb. 28 Declared Special Non-Working Day In Tanza

Residents of Tanza, Cavite can look forward to a day of celebration after February 28, 2026 was officially declared a Special (Non-Working) Day in the municipality under Proclamation No. 1148, in commemoration of the 112th Araw ng Tanza.

The proclamation was signed on behalf of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, allowing Tanzeños to fully participate in the various activities and festivities prepared to mark the town’s milestone anniversary.

Local officials said the declaration highlights the importance of honoring Tanza’s rich history and cultural heritage, while also recognizing the municipality’s continued commitment to public service and care for its people.

The 112th Araw ng Tanza is expected to feature community events, cultural presentations, and civic activities that reflect the town’s journey and shared identity, making the special non-working day an opportunity for residents to celebrate together and strengthen local pride.
