Filipino Mobile Legends player Mark Genzon Sojero Rusiana, popularly known as Kramm, has been handed a seven-match suspension by MPL Malaysia over alleged violations of the league’s code of conduct.

Kramm currently plays as an import player for Selangor Red Giants Esports in the MPL Malaysia scene.

In an official statement, MPL Malaysia said Kramm was found to have sent messages to another athlete that violated multiple provisions under Section 9.1.4 of the league’s official rulebook covering professional behavior.

Because of the violation, the league imposed a seven-match suspension effective immediately across all official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports tournaments in all regions. He was also fined USD 2,000.

MPL Malaysia clarified that the penalties are separate from another incident that had already been addressed in a previous statement.

Following the announcement, Selangor Red Giants Esports also released its own statement regarding the issue involving their Filipino import.

The organization asked the public and the gaming community to avoid speculation and allow the proper process to move forward fairly and respectfully.

“Thank you for your continued support towards SRG Esports,” the team said in its statement.

The issue quickly became a trending topic among Mobile Legends fans across Southeast Asia, especially among Filipino supporters following Kramm’s MPL Malaysia stint.
