Digital bank GoTyme Bank is expanding its services by allowing customers to invest directly in the stock market through its newly launched PH Stocks feature.
In a move aimed at making investing more accessible, GoTyme has partnered with DragonFi to integrate stock trading into its platform. This allows users to buy and sell Philippine stocks seamlessly within the app, eliminating the need to open a separate brokerage account.
“The right financial habits start with the right tools. Philippine stocks are now on GoTyme Bank, powered by DragonFi. Start investing in PH stocks today. #GrowWithGoTyme,” the bank said in its announcement.
The new feature is part of GoTyme’s push to empower more Filipinos to grow their wealth by making financial tools more accessible and user-friendly. With just a few taps, users can now explore and invest in companies listed on the local stock exchange.
However, GoTyme also reminded users to be aware of the risks involved in stock investing. PH stocks are investment products and are not deposits, not insured by the PDIC, and are subject to market risk. Investor protection covers broker insolvency and does not protect against market losses.
Interested users can learn more about the feature through GoTyme’s official website.
