GCash users are being advised to plan their transactions ahead as the popular mobile wallet app will undergo scheduled system maintenance twice this week.

In an advisory, GCash announced that the app will be temporarily unavailable on **Tuesday and Thursday, January 27 and 29, 2026**, from **1:00 AM to 2:00 AM**. During this one-hour window, users may experience interruptions when sending money, paying bills, or making purchases through the app.

The company encouraged users to complete important transactions before the scheduled downtime to avoid inconvenience, especially those who rely on GCash for early-morning payments or transfers.

GCash also reminded customers that help remains available should they encounter concerns outside the maintenance period. As stated in the advisory:

> **“GCash App will take a break on Tuesday and Thursday, January 27 and 29, 2026 from 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM due to scheduled system maintenance.
> Please plan your transactions ahead to avoid any inconvenience.

Customer support can be reached via **2882 (Globe/TM)**, **(02) 7213-9999 (Globe Landline)**, or through an internet call using the GCash Help Center.

GCash operator **G-Xchange, Inc. (GXI)** reiterated that it is a BSP-regulated entity, assuring users that system maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to keep services secure and reliable.
