Helicopter Crash In Pililla Leaves 2 Dead, 1 Critical

A quiet morning in Pililla, Rizal turned tragic after a civilian helicopter crashed in Upper Barak, Quisao, claiming two lives and leaving three others injured.
Pililla Mayor John Masinsin confirmed that the helicopter went down at around 7:27 a.m. Emergency responders were immediately deployed and reached the crash site by 7:40 a.m., quickly beginning rescue and medical operations.
According to initial reports, there were five passengers on board, including two foreign nationals. Two were declared dead, one remains in critical condition, and two others sustained minor injuries but are now stable.
The critically injured passenger was rushed to the hospital by local ambulances. The Municipality of Tanay also sent an extrication team and an additional ambulance to help with the rescue operations. Mayor Masinsin extended his thanks to Tanay Mayor RM Tanjuatco for the swift assistance.
Two of the injured patients are currently confined at Rizal Provincial Hospital in Morong, while another is being treated at RPH Binangonan. To ensure proper monitoring and coordination, the local government has assigned a dedicated unit for each patient to closely track their condition and communicate with their families.
The chief of police, emergency responders, and barangay personnel remain at the crash site as authorities continue their investigation. As of 10:00 a.m., developments are still ongoing as officials work to determine what caused the crash.
