Hev Abi Arrested In QC Raid

OPM artist Hev Abi, whose real name is Gabriel Abilla, was arrested early Tuesday, April 14, during a police operation in Quezon City, authorities confirmed.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said the rapper was apprehended along with six other individuals in Barangay Laging Handa, Diliman, as part of Oplan Paglalansag Omega.
Operatives were implementing a search warrant tied to alleged violations of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, as well as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The artist is currently in CIDG custody.
Further information from investigators is still being awaited as the case develops.
