The transmittal of the Articles of Impeachment from the House of Representatives of the Philippines to the Senate of the Philippines was successfully completed last night, according to House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil, despite multiple developments happening at the same time.

Garafil said the entire process proceeded in an orderly manner as the House carried out its constitutional responsibility without interruption or delay.

She emphasized that House personnel worked continuously to ensure the proper reproduction, verification, collation, and official transmission of all documents. Each step, she noted, was handled with strict attention to detail to preserve the integrity and accuracy of the submission.

Even with a heightened political atmosphere surrounding the proceedings, the House Secretariat remained focused on its mandate and institutional duty.

Garafil added that the constitutional process was able to move forward as required, with the House fulfilling its obligation accordingly.

The office also extended its appreciation to personnel and partner agencies that helped secure and organize the smooth transmittal of the impeachment documents.
