IU And Lee Jong-suk Confirm Split After 4 Years

South Korean stars IU and Lee Jong-suk have officially ended their relationship after four years together, with both of their agencies confirming the breakup on July 10.

IU's agency, EDAM Entertainment, and Lee Jong-suk's agency, ACE FACTORY, released a brief statement confirming the news, saying, “It is true that they broke up,” and adding that the two have decided to remain good colleagues.

The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in 2022 and quickly became one of South Korea's most well-known celebrity couples. Their romance drew widespread support from fans throughout the years.

Despite their breakup, both stars continue to focus on their respective careers. IU is currently preparing for the release of a new album and an upcoming concert, while Lee Jong-suk is set to return to the screen with his upcoming drama, “The Remarried Empress.”
