Japanese Envoy Makes Second Visit To Davao, Meets Baste Duterte

Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Endo Kazuya met anew with Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte in Davao City on April 16, 2026.
This marks Ambassador Endo’s second visit to Davao City, following his earlier courtesy meeting with Mayor Duterte in January 2025.
Also present during the meeting were Japanese Consul General Ono Hirotaka, city government officials, and members of the city council.
