Chinese actress Zhang Yingfei, popularly known as “Linda Walker,” brought smiles and inspiration to students during a special visit to Quezon City High School on Wednesday.

The actress joined representatives from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), officials from the Quezon City local government, and the Department of Education (DepEd) in an outreach activity aimed at supporting students as they begin the new school year.

During the event, school supplies and hygiene kits were distributed to senior high school students, helping them prepare for the months ahead.

One of the highlights of the visit was the recognition of outstanding students, prompting the enthusiastic remark, “Siya lang naman ang nakakuha ng 719 points—highest scorer!” which drew cheers and excitement from those in attendance.

The activity forms part of FFCCCII's “Education for a Better Future” advocacy campaign, an initiative focused on promoting quality education and empowering young Filipinos through greater access to learning opportunities.

As one of DepEd's longtime education partners, FFCCCII continues to support programs that encourage academic excellence and help students build a brighter future.

For many students, the visit was more than just a distribution activity—it was a chance to meet a well-known personality while receiving encouragement to pursue their goals and make the most of their education.
