Napolcom Commissioner Ralph Calinisan made it clear that authorities are serious about pursuing cases against Norman Mangusin, popularly known as “Francis Leo Marcos”, saying teams have already been dispatched to track the status of complaints reportedly filed in multiple courts.

According to Calinisan, checks are ongoing in Baguio, Caloocan, Pampanga, Manila, Quezon City, and Makati.

“Bottomline, no stone left unturned,” he said.

The commissioner stressed that they will not allow anyone to make a mockery of the Philippine National Police and simply walk away.

“We will not allow any clout chaser to make a mockery out of the PNP and get away with it,” he added.

Beyond the court cases, Napolcom is also studying the possibility of requesting the takedown of Mangusin’s social media pages. Calinisan expressed hope that social media companies will take notice and extend assistance if warranted.

The message from the commission is firm: they stand united with the PNP in protecting the dignity of the uniform and safeguarding the morale and welfare of police officers in service.

For Napolcom, this isn’t just about one individual — it’s about drawing the line.
