The government has rolled out a new digital service that allows Filipinos to renew their NBI Clearance through the eGovPH Super App, making the process faster and more convenient.

The new NBI eClearance feature was officially launched on June 6, 2026, in Pasay City through a partnership between the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The initiative supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s directive to make government services more efficient, accessible, and easier for the public to use.

The ceremonial launch was led by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos together with DICT Secretary Henry Aguda, NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag, DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr., and NBI Deputy Director Antonio Pagatpat.

With the new feature, verified users of the eGovPH Super App can now renew their NBI Clearance online without going through the traditional application process. They can also access a digital copy of their renewed clearance and view their latest issued NBI Clearance directly within the app.

The launch marks another step in the government's ongoing digitalization efforts, which aim to make public services more accessible while reducing the need for in-person transactions. Officials said the initiative is part of the broader push toward a more digitally connected and inclusive Bagong Pilipinas.
