Netflix Korea has unveiled its upcoming romantic comedy series Monthly Boyfriend, set to premiere on March 6 exclusively on Netflix.

In a recent Instagram post, Netflix Korea introduced the series with the caption:

“Your taste has been prepared.
All you have to do is choose. Daily life is exhausting and dating can be a hassle, but butterflies? That’s something you can subscribe to.
Romance-fulfilling romantic comedy Monthly Boyfriend premieres March 6. Only on Netflix.
#MonthlyBoyfriend #BoyfriendOnDemand”

The teaser hints at a playful and modern take on romance — where love and excitement can be “subscribed to,” even when real-life dating feels overwhelming.

The title Monthly Boyfriend, also promoted internationally as “Boyfriend On Demand,” suggests a concept-driven storyline centered on curated romance and wish-fulfillment fantasy — a theme that continues to resonate strongly with global K-drama audiences.

While Netflix has yet to reveal full plot details and casting information, the announcement has already generated buzz online, with fans intrigued by the idea of a “subscription-based” love story.

The series will officially stream worldwide on March 6, exclusively on Netflix.
