Park Bom Accuses Sandara Park Of Being Protected In Drug Scandal Claim

On March 3, 2025, Park Bom stunned fans after uploading — and later deleting — a handwritten confession on Instagram.
The note, written in Korean, was translated by Koreaboo. In it, the former 2NE1 vocalist claimed she had been used as a scapegoat to shield fellow member Sandara Park during her past drug controversy.
And this time, Bom says she’s done staying silent.
“I Am Gathering the Courage to Speak”
Addressing “the citizens of the nation,” Bom reassured fans that she is healthy and doing her best to live well. But she admitted that what she was about to reveal was both sensitive and frightening.
She revisited the long-standing controversy involving Adderall — the medication that led to her 2014 investigation. At the time, she was accused of illegally importing the drug into South Korea, where it is classified as a psychotropic substance. Bom has consistently maintained that she was prescribed the medication in the United States for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
“I really didn’t want to bring it up again,” she wrote in the translated statement, expressing fear that even mentioning it again could ruin her reputation.
The Shocking Allegation
But this time, her statement went further.
“It is not a drug. I am an ADD patient,” Bom wrote. She then claimed that Sandara Park had allegedly been caught for drug abuse — and that attention was shifted to her Adderall case to cover it up.
Bom also argued that at the time, there was no clear medication system or specific law in South Korea regarding Adderall, claiming that regulations were created only after her case made headlines.
A Direct Plea to YG
In an emotional message, Bom directly addressed YG Entertainment, its founder Yang Hyun Suk, producer Teddy Park, and even bandmate CL (Lee Chaerin).
She pleaded with them not to report that she had taken more than her prescribed dosage — a claim that had circulated in the past.
“I am writing this because it feels like my soul is crying,” she concluded in the translated note.
No Response Yet
As of writing, the Instagram post has been deleted, and neither Sandara Park nor YG Entertainment has released a statement addressing Bom’s accusations.
With her explosive claims — now circulating widely through translated reports — Park Bom has reopened a controversy many believed had long been settled, placing both her and Sandara Park back in the spotlight.
