The vibrant Tan-ok ni Ilocano Festival is now being celebrated in a unique way—through a special commemorative coin. The festival takes center stage in the second coin of the 100-Peso Philippine Festivals Commemorative Coin Series.

The coin’s design beautifully showcases symbols representing the colorful traditions of towns and cities across Ilocos Norte, capturing the spirit and heritage of the region.

The commemorative coin will be available for purchase at ₱5,000 starting February 28, 2026, at the BSP Pop-up Store located at Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. It will also be available at the BSP Store starting March 9, 2026.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), in partnership with the Department of Tourism and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, ensured that each design accurately reflects the cultural integrity and richness of the festival.

A video providing a closer look at the Tan-ok ni Ilocano Festival commemorative coin is now available for viewers who want to explore the details of this colorful tribute to Ilocano culture.
