President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. personally led the awarding of homes and assistance to beneficiaries of the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para Sa Pilipino (4PH) program, highlighting his administration’s commitment to providing decent and affordable housing for Filipino families.

The milestone event coincided with the 7th anniversary of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and was held at the Megawide Precast Plant in Taytay, Rizal. President Marcos handed over symbolic keys for both vertical and horizontal housing units and distributed Certificates of Lot Award and financial assistance under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP) for land and site development.

In a special gesture, the President also awarded Certificates of Entitlement to beneficiaries of longstanding Presidential Proclamations, granting them security of tenure on lands they have occupied for decades.

Since its establishment on February 14, 2019 under Republic Act No. 11201, DHSUD has served as the primary government agency for planning, managing, and coordinating housing and urban development programs in the country.
