PSEi Climbs Above 6,300 As Buying Momentum Returns

The Philippine stock market bounced back on Wednesday, July 15, with the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rising by 46.48 points, or 0.74%, to close at 6,302.50, as investors returned to buying positions.
Trading activity reached ₱4.3 billion, with market breadth leaning positive. A total of 96 stocks advanced, while 88 declined and 63 remained unchanged, reflecting a generally optimistic trading session.
Foreign investors also ended the day as net buyers. Total foreign buying reached ₱2.09 billion, while foreign selling stood at ₱1.81 billion, resulting in net foreign buying of ₱280.04 million.
The strong finish pushed the PSEi back above the 6,300 level, signaling renewed investor confidence following the previous session's decline.
