PSEi Jumps Over 6% In Strong Market Rally

The Philippine stock market posted a powerful comeback on Monday, June 15, with the benchmark PSEi soaring 362.82 points, or 6.14 percent, to close at 6,272.88.
Investor sentiment turned notably positive throughout the trading day, fueling broad-based gains across the market. Advancers significantly outnumbered decliners, reflecting strong buying interest as traders returned to equities.
Total market turnover reached Php 12.7 billion, indicating active participation from investors. Foreign investors also provided a boost to the rally, recording net foreign buying of more than Php 1 billion. Foreign purchases totaled Php 7.50 billion, while foreign sales reached Php 6.47 billion.
The strong performance pushed the PSEi back above the 6,200 level and marked one of the index's biggest single-day gains in recent months. Market breadth remained firmly positive, with 144 stocks advancing against 58 decliners, while 43 issues closed unchanged.
