PSEi Rises As Market Ends Higher At 6,325

The Philippine stock market closed higher on Thursday, July 16, 2026, as the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) gained 22.65 points or 0.36 percent to finish at 6,325.15, supported by broader market gains.
Trading activity reached a total value of ₱7.4 billion, with more advancing stocks than decliners. A total of 117 issues gained, while 78 declined and 57 remained unchanged.
Foreign investors also recorded a net buying position, with foreign purchases reaching ₱4.41 billion compared with ₱4.22 billion in foreign selling, resulting in net foreign buying of ₱195.39 million.
The market’s positive close reflected renewed investor interest, as buyers returned to select sectors despite continued monitoring of global and domestic economic developments.
