PSEi Slips Amid Net Foreign Selling

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) took a dip today, closing at 5,948.33, down 50.35 points or 0.84%.
Market activity showed a cautious mood among investors, with 70 stocks advancing, 125 declining, and 70 unchanged. The total value of shares traded reached Php 5.5 billion.
Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading Php 3.61 billion while buying Php 2.56 billion, resulting in net foreign selling of Php 1.05 billion.
“The market felt the pressure from foreign outflows today, which weighed on overall sentiment,” analysts said, noting that domestic investors remain watchful.
