The Philippine Stock Exchange Index declined on Monday, April 13, 2026, as selling pressure pulled the benchmark lower.

The index closed at 6,054.05, down 44.16 points or 0.72 percent, reflecting a cautious mood among investors throughout the trading session.

Market activity remained relatively active, with total value turnover reaching PHP 7.7 billion. However, decliners outpaced gainers, 121 to 82, while 69 stocks ended unchanged—highlighting the broader weakness across the market.

Foreign participation also leaned negative for the day. Foreign buying reached Php 5.09 billion, but this was outweighed by foreign selling at Php 5.30 billion, resulting in a net foreign outflow of Php 216.89 million.

The latest session underscores continued market volatility, with investors closely watching both local and global developments for clearer direction in the days ahead.
