The stage is officially set for the Premier Volleyball League All-Star Showcase, with the final roster now complete ahead of the much-anticipated clash on May 1 in Candon City.
The league unveiled its reserve players on Monday night, completing two stacked squads—Team Heart and Team Hustle—through a unique voting process that involved coaches, players, team officials, referees, media, and technical staff.
For Team Heart, all eyes are on three-time MVP Alyssa Valdez, who headlines a deep reserve lineup. She’s joined by a strong mix of talent including Vanie Gandler, Dawn Catindig, and Gel Cayuna from Cignal, along with Myla Pablo and MJ Phillips of Nxled, and Jean Asis from Galeries Tower.
They’ll be backing up an already loaded starting squad featuring Jia De Guzman, Jema Galanza, Jeanette Panaga, Bella Belen, Majoy Baron, Erika Santos, and Justine Jazareno. Calling the shots for Team Heart is PLDT head coach Rald Ricafort.
On the other side, Team Hustle is bringing just as much firepower. The reserve unit is led by multi-time MVPs Brooke Van Sickle and Tots Carlos, alongside Alohi Robins-Hardy, Ivy Lacsina, Fifi Sharma, Jackie Acuña, Alyssa Eroa, and Bea De Leon.
They’ll support a powerhouse starting lineup featuring Kim Fajardo, Kianna Dy, Mika Reyes, Kath Arado, Bernadeth Pons, Eya Laure, and again Fifi Sharma, who makes a double appearance in the lineup.
Leading Team Hustle from the sidelines is Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos.
With star power on both sides and pride on the line, fans can expect a high-energy, highlight-filled showdown as the league’s best come together for one night of pure volleyball action.
