The Quezon City Government has launched an investigation into the reported delivery and storage of large volumes of diesel fuel inside a residential area in Barangay Sacred Heart, raising safety concerns among residents.

In an official statement, the city government said several local departments are now coordinating with national agencies, including the Department of Energy, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Quezon City Police District, to determine whether any laws or safety regulations have been violated.

Authorities confirmed that the Bureau of Fire Protection has already ordered the immediate removal of the stored diesel fuel to prevent potential hazards and ensure the safety of residents in the area.

The city government emphasized that it will not tolerate activities that endanger public safety, particularly those involving the improper storage of flammable materials in residential communities.

Officials also assured the public that monitoring efforts will continue, especially amid ongoing global tensions affecting fuel-related concerns.

Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or illegal activities to the city government through QC Helpline 122.
