Dr. Philip Conrad “Dok Bong” M. Acop has been officially proclaimed as the new representative of the 2nd Legislative District of Antipolo City following the successful canvassing of votes.

Acop secured 60,501 votes, the highest among the six candidates who competed for the congressional seat.
According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), a total of 84,367 voters cast their ballots out of 252,793 registered voters in the district, resulting in a voter turnout of 33.37 percent.

COMELEC expressed gratitude to everyone who helped ensure the smooth conduct of the election, including teachers who served as Electoral Board members, government agencies, security forces, private partners, members of the media, and voters in the 2nd District of Antipolo City who participated in the democratic process.
