Based on information from the Incident Command Post, responders successfully extricated the body of an unidentified male victim from the rubble shortly after 4 a.m. on June 1.

Following the recovery, personnel from the City Health Office immediately carried out Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) procedures to ensure the proper identification and handling of the victim’s remains.
