Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon is putting urgency front and center, leading an inspection in Taguig City to make sure delayed and ongoing infrastructure projects move faster—and finish stronger.

On April 28, Dizon personally checked on several Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) projects alongside Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, along with key regional and district engineers.

One of the major stops was the Justice Law Building, a project that had been stalled but is now set for a comeback. The five-story structure, which includes an annex that will house 26 courtrooms, is seen as a critical addition to the city’s legal infrastructure.

Dizon said the DPWH is prioritizing the release of funds and is already working to secure a new contractor to ensure the project resumes and gets completed without further delays.

The team also visited the Forensics Building at Camp Bagong Diwa, where a topping-off ceremony marked the final phase of construction—an indication that the project is nearing completion.

For Dizon, the message is clear: speed, transparency, and quality should go hand in hand. He assured the public that the agency remains committed to delivering infrastructure that not only meets deadlines but also supports long-term community development.

With these projects moving forward again, Taguig residents can expect improvements that go beyond structures—aiming to strengthen both public service and the justice system in the city.
