DOF, US Embassy Eye Stronger Economic Partnership

The Department of Finance (DOF) and the United States Embassy have reaffirmed their commitment to expanding economic cooperation following a meeting between Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go and U.S. Ambassador Lee Lipton.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to deepen collaboration in key sectors, including trade, investment, energy, and technology. They also exchanged views on ongoing initiatives such as the Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC), which aims to attract more investments, generate employment, and support long-term economic growth in the Philippines.
The discussions highlighted the shared goal of strengthening economic ties between the Philippines and the United States while creating more opportunities for Filipino workers, businesses, and investors.
Secretary Frederick Go also reiterated the Department of Finance's commitment to fostering partnerships that deliver meaningful and lasting benefits for the country's economy and the Filipino people.
