Fuel Rollback Expected Next Week - DOE

Motorists may see a slight rollback in fuel prices next week, as the Department of Energy said a price cut is expected but not yet final.
Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said the anticipated adjustment follows recent movements in global oil prices, which continue to influence local pump rates.
The expected rollback, however, may be modest compared to previous increases, as fuel price adjustments vary depending on international trading conditions. Developments in oil-producing regions, particularly in the Middle East, may still affect final prices if the situation changes.
Aside from the expected rollback, jeepney drivers are set to receive a P10 per liter fuel discount next week, as part of government efforts to help ease the impact of fluctuating fuel costs on the transport sector.
