Filipino gymnast Karl Eldrew Yulo made history by winning his first senior-level gold medal at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series – Antalya leg in Turkey. He scored 14.100 points to dominate the Men’s Floor Exercise and secure the top podium spot.

Yulo had faced challenges in his first senior outings. Just last week at the Baku World Cup in Azerbaijan, he reached the finals in both the floor exercise and horizontal bar but did not medal, finishing sixth and seventh, respectively. His performance in Antalya marked a remarkable comeback, showcasing his growth and consistency at the senior level.

Known for his explosive floor routines and precise technique on the horizontal bar, Yulo has steadily become one of the Philippines’ brightest stars in international gymnastics.
