President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. saw his net satisfaction rating fall sharply in the latest survey released by Social Weather Stations, dropping from +33 in November 2025 to +15 in March 2026.

The new poll showed growing dissatisfaction among Filipinos over the President’s performance, continuing a downward trend seen in recent months. SWS classifies a +15 rating as “moderate,” but it marks a significant decline compared to the much stronger ratings Marcos posted earlier in his presidency.

The survey also reflected shifting political sentiment across different regions of the country. Earlier SWS polls showed the President struggling to maintain support in Metro Manila and Mindanao, where dissatisfaction had already been rising amid political tensions and criticism from opposition groups and allies of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Despite the drop, Marcos still retained stronger numbers in parts of Luzon and the Visayas, according to previous SWS findings. Analysts say economic concerns, inflation, and ongoing political conflicts may be contributing to the weakening public satisfaction ratings.

The latest figures highlight how public opinion has shifted since Marcos enjoyed “very good” and even “excellent” ratings during the early years of his administration. Surveys conducted in 2023 showed his net satisfaction reaching as high as +68 before gradually declining through 2024 and 2025.
