Sandara Park has issued a clear and direct denial of drug use after online speculation intensified following claims made by former 2NE1 bandmate Park Bom.

In a brief Instagram Story that quickly spread among fans in South Korea and the Philippines, Sandara wrote: “I have never used drugs. I wish her well.” The post did not mention anyone by name, but the timing left little doubt about whom it was addressing.

Park Bom had earlier uploaded — and later deleted — a handwritten note alleging she had been used as a “cover-up” for Sandara in connection with drug-related issues. The claim triggered widespread discussion and concern among fans, including those who have followed Sandara since her early career in Philippine showbiz before debuting with the group 2NE1.

Despite the noise online, there is no official investigation or complaint involving Sandara in either country. Reports from South Korean entertainment insiders have also described Park Bom’s allegation as “groundless,” with some expressing concern for Bom’s well-being amid the controversy.

Sandara, known for her consistently clean public image and long-standing connection with Filipino fans, has never been implicated in any drug case throughout her career. Her short but firm post appears aimed at shutting down the rumors before they gain further traction — a common challenge for Korean celebrities navigating strict public expectations and fast-spreading online speculation.
