Philippines Unveils Squad For ASEAN Hyundai Cup

The Philippine Men's National Football Team has officially unveiled its squad for the upcoming 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup, with a youthful lineup preparing to represent the country in one of Southeast Asia's biggest football tournaments.
In a social media post, the team introduced its roster with a message highlighting the players' determination ahead of the regional competition.
"The Squad Is Here! Young. Hungry. Fearless. The team is ready to give everything for the Philippines as they begin their ASEAN Hyundai Cup journey."
The ASEAN Hyundai Cup, formerly known as the AFF Championship, is Southeast Asia's premier men's international football tournament, bringing together the region's top national teams in a bid for regional supremacy.
The Philippines will kick off its campaign on July 28 against Myanmar at the New Clark City Stadium in Capas, Tarlac. The home match will be followed by an away fixture against Laos on August 1 at the Lao National Stadium in Vientiane.
The national team will then return to New Clark City Stadium to face regional powerhouse Thailand on August 4 before concluding the group stage with an away match against Malaysia at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium on August 8.
The Philippine Football Federation is hoping home support will provide the team with an early boost as it begins its campaign in front of Filipino fans.
The Philippines is aiming to build on its best performances in the tournament after reaching the semifinals in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2018. A strong showing in this year's competition would mark another step forward for Philippine football as it continues to compete against the region's traditional powerhouses.
As the countdown to the tournament continues, the national team is calling on supporters to rally behind the squad.
