PSEi Dips Amid Foreign Selling

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) closed at 6,018.62 on March 19, down 36.83 points or 0.61%.

Market activity reached a total value of PHP 9.9 billion, with 61 stocks advancing, 133 declining, and 55 unchanged. Foreign investors were net sellers, with foreign buying at PHP 6.02 billion and foreign selling at PHP 6.48 billion, resulting in a net foreign outflow of PHP 460.37 million.

The decline reflects cautious investor sentiment as the market reacts to ongoing economic and global developments.
