The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) slipped on March 13, closing at 6,058.94, down 54.64 points or 0.89 percent, as foreign investors offloaded more shares than they bought.

Market activity totaled PHP 13.8 billion, with 68 stocks advancing, 108 declining, and 79 remaining unchanged.

Foreign transactions showed Php 2.65 billion in buying against Php 6.31 billion in selling, resulting in a net foreign outflow of Php 3.66 billion.

The market downturn reflects cautious sentiment among investors, as sustained foreign selling continues to put pressure on key index components.

Despite the decline, analysts note that domestic trading remains active, with certain sectors still showing resilience amid broader market weakness.
