The main index of the Philippine Stock Exchange ended Wednesday slightly higher, with gains outpacing losses despite continued foreign selling.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) closed at 6,158.33, up 31.67 points or 0.52 percent on March 11, 2026, reflecting modest optimism among investors during the trading session.

Market activity remained active, with total traded value reaching ₱7.9 billion. Advancing stocks outnumbered decliners, with 131 gainers, compared to 66 losers, while 57 issues remained unchanged.

Foreign investors, however, were net sellers for the day.
Foreign buying reached ₱4.28 billion, while foreign selling totaled ₱4.50 billion, resulting in a net foreign outflow of about ₱219.4 million.

Despite the foreign selling, the index managed to stay in positive territory, supported by selective buying in several local stocks.
