The PSEi surged 120.44 points, or 2.01%, to close at 6,126.66 on March 10, marking a strong rebound for the local bourse.

The total value of shares traded reached PHP 7.4 billion, with 147 stocks advancing, 58 declining, and 64 remaining unchanged, signaling broad market participation.

Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading Php 4.01 billion while buying Php 3.52 billion, resulting in net foreign selling of Php 498 million.

Despite the net outflow, local investors drove the market higher, particularly in sectors such as Mining & Oil, Services, and Industrial firms, which saw notable gains.

The upbeat session reflects renewed confidence among domestic traders, as they continue to weigh both global market trends and local economic developments.
