PSEi Slips to 5,910 As Market Ends Lower Despite Foreign Buying

The Philippine stock market closed lower on June 11, 2026, with the PSEi finishing at 5,910.06, down 31.3 points or 0.53 percent.

Market activity remained mixed throughout the session, with investors weighing sector movements and broader market sentiment. Trading value reached ₱6.6 billion, reflecting steady participation despite the index’s decline.

Market breadth tilted negative, with 99 decliners outpacing 75 advancers, while 59 stocks remained unchanged, signaling cautious trading behavior across the board.

Foreign flows, however, continued to show interest in the local market. Foreign buying amounted to ₱3.94 billion, while foreign selling reached ₱3.38 billion, resulting in a net foreign buying of ₱553.6 million.

Despite the net inflow, the benchmark index still ended in the red, highlighting selective positioning among investors as the session closed.
