Most sectoral indices ended in the red, reflecting cautious investor sentiment heading into the weekend.
The All Shares Index fell 0.67% to 3,629.26, while the Financials sector dropped 0.80%. Industrial shares slipped 0.55%, and Services declined 0.80%.
The biggest drag came from Mining & Oil, which tumbled 0.89%, shedding 178.27 points. The Property sector also saw notable losses, falling 1.76%, making it one of the day’s weakest performers.

Despite the decline, the index remains above the 6,500 level, a key psychological support for traders. Market watchers say investors are likely weighing global cues and local economic signals as they position ahead of the new trading month.
The overall tone: cautious, with selective buying in holding firms but broad-based selling across most sectors.
