Sandiganbayan Issues Arrest Warrant Against Estrada, Bonoan

The Sandiganbayan’s 2nd Division has issued a warrant of arrest against Senator Jinggoy Estrada and former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel Bonoan in connection with a graft case.
Alongside the arrest warrant, the anti-graft court also released a Hold Departure Order (HDO) covering both Estrada and Bonoan, effectively barring them from leaving the country while the case is ongoing.
Details of the graft allegations have not yet been fully disclosed, but the issuance of both an arrest warrant and HDO signals that the court has found sufficient basis to proceed with the case.
Authorities are expected to enforce the warrant and ensure compliance with the travel restrictions as legal proceedings move forward.
