Serg's Chocolate Bars Is Coming Back

After years of delays, Serg’s Chocolates has announced it is planning a comeback in 2026, starting with its iconic chocolate bars.
In a message to followers, the brand said 2026 will be its restart year, marking a new chapter for the Filipino chocolate maker that first opened in 1954 on Cordillera Street, Quezon City.
Serg’s previously promised a return in a 2019 Inquirer article, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed its plans. The company also faced another setback when the 2024 Carina floods damaged its warehouse, affecting equipment needed for production.
Despite the challenges, Serg’s remains determined to rebuild.
The brand said it will start small by producing Serg’s Chocolate Bars first, and plans to share updates publicly in the first quarter of 2026. It emphasized transparency as it works to restart operations.
Serg’s also asked for support from its community, encouraging followers to share their Facebook page (Sergs Brands) and Instagram account (Sergs Chocolates). They also urged fans to pass down memories of Serg’s to younger generations to keep the legacy alive.
The brand added that it may seek help from the public during the process, aiming to preserve Serg’s as a Filipino family legacy.
If everything goes as planned, Serg’s hopes to fully reopen by the third quarter of 2026.
