'Tayo Sa Wakas' Opens Big, Earns P12M On Day One

“Tayo Sa Wakas” is off to a massive start after earning PHP 12 million at the Philippine box office on its first day of showing on May 27, making it the biggest opening-day gross for a Filipino film in 2026.
The latest Star Cinema offering, starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, is currently showing in 250 cinemas nationwide as fans continue to flock to theaters for the much-awaited romantic drama directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
Following its strong local debut, the film is also set for an international rollout in several territories. “Tayo Sa Wakas” opens in Australia and New Zealand on June 11, followed by the United States, Canada, and Guam on June 12. The movie will also arrive in Hong Kong and Macau on June 21, while Taiwan screenings begin on August 7. Release dates for Malaysia are expected within June 2026, with Middle East screenings coming soon.
