The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) said its call for transparency, accountability, justice, and peace will continue even after the conclusion of its anti-corruption rally, stressing that the message lives on beyond the public gathering.
In a social media post following the event, the church said no sacrifice is ever wasted when it is made for what is right, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability, justice, and peace under the campaign #WeAreOne.
The INC also said that while the rally has ended, its message remains, adding that participants stood together for the Philippines.
According to an article published on the INC's official website, the rally called on Filipinos to uphold the rule of law and support efforts to promote transparency, accountability, justice, and peace. The church said the gathering reflected its belief that laws should be implemented properly and that corruption should be addressed through lawful means.
The multi-day rally drew thousands of INC members and supporters and concluded peacefully, with the church reiterating that its advocacy for transparency, accountability, justice, and peace will continue beyond the demonstrations.
